Raising Intuitive Eaters
This is the "how to talk to our kids about it all" part, but it is also the "how to model what we want" part. Kids are little sponges, and how we move around in this world, the environment we build and sustain for them, and how we talk about food and body can greatly impact what they may or may not internalize.

The overall picture we cultivate can impact how they eat, feel about themselves and their body, and ultimately the quality of their health and life.

Many children are already disconnected from their own hunger and fullness cues by the age of 4 or 5- a result of well-meaning caregivers encouraging them to "eat more" or "don't eat that".
We always in our assessment, "what was your relationship with food like as a child?" Taking a deep dive into this environment and relationship is so important to understanding an adult's eating and self-care.
But moms know this- and this is also why there is tons of pressure and anxiety around child eating! We love supporting moms in working through the "shoulds" and "shouldn'ts" they've read about and are grappling with to help find a place of calm in the home. We know it is hard, and we know there can be a lot of guilt or worrying, and we want to help make this important part of parenting less stressful and more enjoyable!
We believe in family meals and support moms to figure out how to make this work for them. We also support moms in navigating meal planning, complicated discussions, environmental questions (like where to put the snacks!), and anything else that might impact eating in the home or body image generally.
A large part of this may or may not be working on core beliefs or disordered eating for mom.
We are here to help.
